Open Burning Requires a Permit

Burning leaves, brush, or any vegetation can have devastating consequences during extremely dry or windy days. Lone Jack Fire Protection District requires all residents (and businesses) to secure burn permits for any fire. Burning without a permit can lead to penalties and fines.
